What in the World?!
Wow! Meteorologists have been right two times in a row!
Last week they said it would snow six to eight inches in Metro Detroit…and it did. Then yesterday they stated Metro Detroit would get an inch of snow Wednesday night and then six to eight inches during the day on Thursday. Again they appear to be right.
Last year, DJ and I went out for a couple of drinks (which turned into many more) on a night shortly before Christmas and it snowed just like the Chuck Gadica said it would. (We preserved with alcohol and Taco Bell.)
Meteorologists have consistently been inconsistent in their weather predictions over the years. But maybe their technologies have become more advanced and Doppler 9000 (or whatever it’s called) really is more accurate.
So kudos for doing your job meteorologists. I’m happy with your progress and newfound accuracy and consistency.
As for the roads: Metro Detroit is a mess. Be careful if you are down this way and if not I’m sure it is bad wherever you are, so be careful.
