dj's on leave

i'm not as funny as dj. i don't plan on being as funny as dj. however, dj is on sabbatical and i feel the need to speed...or write about some of the things he would write about and carry on his short lived legacy. dj's writing a movie and needs some free time. i spend friday nights drinking beer and watching hbo all by my lonesome. i figure i can be more productive with my excessive free time and substitute for dj’s absence.

i guess i'm like the substitute teacher that people won't completely make fun of, but when i'm not around will talk about what a douche-bag i am. like tony crane from saved by the bell...b to the b, to the b. go bayside!

i can't say i'll be as thorough as dj. and i certainly won't be as pop culture oriented. i'll write more about pandas - pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorder associated with streptococcal infection - good rock bands (minus grover, evad, etc.) and bad sports teams (the lions, the spartans, etc). i can't keep up with paris hilton and ashley simpson. but, i'll do my best to be entertaining.

i'm not a journalist. but my sister and brother are, so back off.

my second post (this is my first) will talk about the day in college football. stay tuned if you'd like.
